Friday Fluff…

…in the news!

First, what do you think about my new blog design? I think it’s bright and happy! Maybe a little busy, but for now, I’m sticking with it.

Can I just say how excited I am about Rachel and Katie’s Olympics party? I have the costume for my country all picked out. And my food representing that country, chosen.

But, I hope and pray that like China, Rachel and Katie institute this rule for any food brought by other party guests.

Cause if not, I’m not touching a thing!

Did you ever go through a phase where you hated your name? I know I did.

But, I now see that I had nothing to complain about.

What is wrong with people? I’m not a fan of the idea of “Big Brother” monitoring everything we do, but, sometimes I really think people should be forced to take some kind of test before they become parents.

I mean, what kind of a parent names their child Violence? A good one?

I don’t think so.

And lastly, if you know me, you know that if I don’t have a pocket or purse (and sometimes even when I do), I’ll store something in my bra.

Phone, money, lipstick, keys, glasses, they’ve all been stuffed next to my décolletage.

And, I’ll admit that there have been times when I’ve forgotten that something is in there, only to be surprised later when it falls out.

But, this? A live creature? Come on!

How could you not notice? And she’s so calm about it.

If I found a bat in my bra, you would still be hearing the echo of my screams.

Well, I hope you have a fabulous weekend. I’m off to Big Bear to be with my family for a little mini-vacation.

And not to worry, since I’m going to be in the foresty mountains, I’m going to be extra careful that what I put in my bra isn’t alive!

I am super excited for the Olympics but at the same time I am super bummed that I can't be at the Olympic party! Maybe I'll order a pizza and represent Italy while I watch the opening ceremonies.

I also agree about the name thing. I've come across a few interesting ones but the craziest would have to be the student Danny Danger. Trust me, you didn't want to mess with her.

A bat in a bra, really? I'd for sure notice, it'd be the first time I'd actually be able to fill one out. Anyway, that was a funny story, thanks for making me laugh today.

Have a wonderful time in Big Bear!

I always assumed that it was an unwritten law that no dog meat was allowed in my apartment but just in case: No dog meat is allowed in my apartment. I hope everyone feels safe to come now.

I would like to applaud New Zealand for taking a stand and actually telling parents they can't name their child a weird name. If they want a weird name when they are older then they can give themselves one.

1) I like your new layout, I think its quite pretty, and its making me think that mine is boring, and also making me wonder how come when I switched mine all my sidebars disappeared and yours didn't. (Ans: Because you are smarter than me.)

2) Once I found a spider in my bra. There was screaming. To have that kind of reaction I'm thinking Bat-lady must sprinkle valium in her wheaties.

3) I find it very weird that I do not have your email address, but I do not...would you mind terribly if I did? Here, I'll even give you the most often checked of mine: Hannah410@gmail.com

4) I love you!

Oh, how I've missed your Friday fluff. Your blog is cute--girly, but not childish.
I, too, am excited for the Olympic Party--and thank you for bringing up the "fragrant meat" rule. I promise that while my food will definately be foreign, it will not be dog.
And I totally agree with the parenthood test--who do we need to talk to to get that law passed? Brittney Spears had a prenting coach--Do you think we could do that more often?
I love my bonus pocket (aka bra) but I dont think I'd ever be drunk enough to not realize there was a bat in it...even it it was cutely comfortable and sleeping. I'm pretty sure she had more than "one or two drinks" the night before--but congrats on the calm outlook.
When are we gonna play?

Hannah, I sent you an email so hopefully you got it.

Also, when I changed my blog layout, all my stuff disappeared as well. I had to put it all back (which was a pain).
